The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Chorus and the East Avenue Ensemble will present “A Concert of Contrasts: Brahms & Americana” on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.at Saint Mark Presbyterian Church, 10701 Old Georgetown Road, Rockville, Maryland. This one-time only performance will feature several timeless classics. In addition to Brahms’s Nanie, the concert will include Copland’s Zion’s Walls, Kelley’s Old Joe Clark and Home on the Range, Niles’ Black is the Color of My True Love’s Hair, Erb’s Shenandoah, An Evening Blessing, composed by the conductor W.
