Come and enjoy “ A Summer Concert” on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.at Cedar Lane Unitarian Church, 9601 Cedar Lane, Bethesda, Maryland.performed by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Community Orchestra and Chorus. This one-time only performance will feature timeless orchestral and choral classics. The Orchestra will perform Verdi’s Overture to Nabucco, Bernstein’s Overture to West Side Story, John Williams’ Tango Por Una Cabeza (Heather MacArthur, violin soloist), and Rogers/Hammerstein’s Selections from the Sound of Music. The Chorus will join with the Orchestra in performing selections from Mozart’s Coronation Mass including Kyrie, Gloria, and Agnus Dei.
